Hi,
I have a Ford KA with the coil spring broken on the driver side (failed NCT). The NCT mechanic told me to replace it and re-test the car.
My garage is saying that:
- I should replace both springs at the front because replacing only one would cause an imbalance
- I should also replace both shocks because it's not good to have new springs and old shocks
Could you confirm that I need to replace all of this? It would cost me 380 euros, which is a big deal for me to pay to I'd like to make sure it's essential...
