2000 Other Ford Models Two Wheel Drive Manual

Hi
I have a ford Ka when I switch from 1st to 2nd gear it jerks or judders at first. I am due to drive a distance tomorrow will this be safe?

hi suzanne yes if only in first and second other gears are ok you should be fine does it run ok otherwise?
