We parked our 1999 Itaska Motor Home for 8 months, that is Ford Driven V-10 and when we started out on trip this year the speedometer would not work.
Checked and replaced the speed sensor Fords suggessed and sold to us. That they said is usually the problem. Not the problem. CAN YOU HELP US OR SUGEST WHERE I MAY FIND AN ANSWER.

there are two wires that go to the speed sensor. One is gray/black and that is the one that goes to the speedometer. check to see if you are getting a voltage signal on that wire. there is a breakout, meaning it connects to another wire and it may be broken there but check to see if you get a voltage signal somewhere by the speedo. If YOu do then it's eitehr a bad ground or the speedo is bad. If you have a digital dash that may be the problem.
