Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1999 Other Ford Models 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

the vehicle is a uk ford fiesta with an Endura DE 1.8 diesel engine unit.
i replaced the front lower suspension arm [ 'wishbone' ] on each side. in doing so i moved the freed hub assembly quite alot and although when i 'turned the wheel hub' on each side the wheel hub on the other side turned too i've now engaged 4th gear to adjust the camshaft for valve clearance adjustment but turning the wheel hub doesn't rotate the camshaft.
In the section of the workshop manual that deals with renewing driveshaft gaiters there is an advisory to not pull the driveshafts 'out' too far from the inner cv joint. What would be the consquence of that and can it be that's what i've done?
