I have brought a 96 Ford Telstar Station Waggon, 2l 16 valve and have a misterious white smoke or steam coming from the exaust. I say steam because it dissapears relatively quickely and doesn't linger like smoke, also it doesnt smell like smoke. The engine starts and drives fine, doesnt overheat or cough and splutter just has the steam appear once it gets warm. Its very noticable and i can see steam in the view mirriors as i drive around town and stopped at traffic lights. I'm suspect maybe a head gasket and its water from the cooling system leaking in but havent had the car ling enough to notice the water level dropping by an conciderable ammount.
