Hi... I'm driving a Ford Telstar '92. It's using a carburetor engine. Previously, when starting up the engine when it is cold, the engine would automatically rev's itself at 1'500 rpm until warm then rev's itself at 1'000 rpm. the problem I face now is that the engine doesn't rev at 1'500 rpm anymore when it's cold, instead it dies off immediately after starting it up. I must hold the accelerator until it warms up then can I release the accelerator. I just don't know what the problem is. Some people say it might be that the auto choke system is broken. Any ideas?
