1964 Ford F100 Pickup: Had the clutch worked on by Ford dealership 3 years ago. They replaced clutch pressure plate, throwout bearings, and resurfaced the flywheel. I do not drive this truck very much. Since it was worked on, it does not operate as smooth as I think it should.

And here is a noise that comes and goes at 50 to 60 MPH. It is a vibration, not quite high pitched noise. And it quits when I tap the clutch pedal. It has not been making the noise lately. Just put $6000 in body wrk/paint. Would like for it to run smooth. Any thoughts on what it could be? Thanks.

Hi there,

If the noise goes when you just touch the clutch, i would be thinking a sticky thrust bearing. I would be checking it first.
