I have a 2007 Mustang (V6) that I purchased in late January.
While driving on the highway a few days ago, a rock from a truck driving next to me hit my windshield and left about a quarter size crack/bubble. It isn't horribly noticeable, but was bugging me (to have a crack in the windshield of a new car), so I called to have it replaced (they are coming out tomorrow).
I have a lot of people telling me I shouldn't replace it - that a car's never the same once the windshields replaced. Is this true?
Any opinions appreciated (I never gave it a second thought in my old car, but I absolutely LOVE this car and don't want to create any problems).
