Turn Signal Blows Fuse

1994 Mustang Cobra. mileage: 88000. Fuse #9 blows when I turn on the right turn signal. It is OK to turn on the left signal and the blinkers. I have tried disconnecting the right front and rear turn lights, but the fuse still blows when I turn on the signal. I have gone over the wire loom were it is visible and cleaned the earth connections, but the fuse keeps blowing. Any suggestions would be helpful.

It sounds like you've got a wire shorting out. The wire is touching metal somewhere in the car, this is the single-most hated thing about electricity for me. The only way to fix it is to trace that wire all the way from the fuse box to the lights or the other way around if that's easier. The best fix is once you find it cut it and put a butt connector on it then slap some electrical tape on it. It sucks but that's the only way.

Thank you for the quick reply. I did suspect that, but was hoping it would be something easy as replacing some switches or relays or what ever other then tracing the wire.

Well the only switch is the one you use to turn on the signal and if the other one works fine it's not that. Generally if the fuse is blowing the wire is shorting out somewhere and heating up that wire. The whole point of the fuse it to keep that wire from getting too hot with too much amps running through it cause if it did you'd have a nice melted mess through the whole car if not a fire so it's better than nothin.

I´ll get a hold of a multimeter and see how the wire measures, it is probably damaged somewhere out of reach.
