Power Seat Problem

I have a 95 Mustang Convertible the power seat will not move forward or back after a couple of attempts it seems as if the motor stops working i replaced the switch and the seat would work as long as the seat was not bolted to the floor. but once the seat was mounted it would not work....thanks
