No Spark

I have a 1989 Ford Mustang LX 125k miles 5.0 engine that i have just replaced the heads and intake. The heads and lower intake are from a 94 GT i previously owned that have some work done to them. I have replaced the coil,ignition stator, and the ignition module was tested and is ok. I took a plug out to test for spark and am not getting any however the motor does turn over but just wont start. I released the pressure valve on the fuel rail and there is built up gas in there so it gets fuel. Any idea why i get no spark?

any codes listed in the computer?

I dont have a scanner to put on it unfortunately but I'm thinking i need to stick a tester on the PIP maybe? I dont know much about a PIP so if you have any insight on that it would be appreciated also. I just know its a Profile Ignition Pickup but im not sure if it is a sensor or just a wire.

Yeah the 5.0 has it also. I guess i will buy a scanner tomorrow and run a test on it to see if that brings up any numbers. I am gonna put a voltage meter on the wires tomorrow and check the ones that come out of the ignition module.

have you taken a test light to see if you have power to your coil? 8)

ok i took a test light to it today and the R/LG wire is the power to ignition module and coil and the light came on for that wire. However the DB wire is that Profile Ignition Pickup and the light wouldnt come on for it so what does that mean?

also checked both wires going to the coil and neither are hot

I assume you have the key in the start position?
If youve replaced the coil and the TFI mod the only thing left is the distributor...any sideplay?

ok i hooked it up to a scanner and got the following codes:
15: ROM test failure

15: Power interrupt to computer memory

54: qVane air flow sensor or air charge temperature sensor

ok the wire going to the coil is or is not hot. one step at a time if the wire to the one side of the coil is hot in the run possion then have someone crank the engine the other side should strob. if it does not strob or you do not have power . you need to find out why you don't have power to the one side of the coil. the strob side comes from the distributor. also i need to know the code numbers so i can look them up to tell you better what they mean. 8) NOS

those are the codes and the code numbers numbers were 15,15,54
