Ford Mustand Turning Noise

Hey Guys,

I have a 1997 Ford Mustang 3.8L V6 with 109,640 Miles. When the car has been sitting for a while and had time to cool off and I begin to accelerate with the wheel turned to the right I get a steady clunking noise until I straighten the wheel. After the vehicle has warmed up after driving it doesn't have the clunking noise when turning as bad. I have been told that it could be the differential but it sounds like its coming from the front end.

Sounds typical of a bad cv joint on the one axle, with the exception of it changing with the operating temp of the car.

Mustangs dont have cv joints,but the front wheel bearing could be the culprit. Most manufacturers have gone to a sealed hub design that isnt serviceable( cant be re-packed and re-tensioned). They go bad frequently.
