I'm replacing the throttle body with a new OEM Ford throttle body. Dealer said mine is bad. Looks like a simple job. My question, are there any adjustments needed or computer adjustments or is it just a simple parts swap.

Thanks

Just mind the torque spec! Use NEW gaskets, and check the old ones for proper placement! Have you tried removing and cleaning it yet? Use either soap and water and a soft cloth, or tbi cleaner made for Fords, NOTHING else or the teflon finish can be destroyed. Removal and Installation 1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES . 2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING . 3. Disconnect the 2 throttle body (TB) electrical connectors. 4. Remove the 4 bolts and the TB.  To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in). 5. To install, reverse the removal procedure. CAUTION: The throttle body must be removed from the vehicle to be cleaned. Do not hold the throttle plate open with any object that could scratch the bore or plate while servicing or cleaning the throttle body. NOTE: Inspect and install a new throttle body gasket as necessary.
