What is a Smart Junction box, What does it do and can I replace it myself. Also where is it located in the car?

The smart junction box is in the right side kick panel here are diagrams of the location

You may need to get it problems for about $130.00 at a shop but I have seen them plug and play as well. Check out the diagrams (Below) Please let us know what happens. Cheers
