I own a 04 cobra mustang and I accelerated hard getting on the freeway and my car all the suddend started running poor and I lost all the boost from my supercharger. I opened the hood and it looks like I still have my belts. I then drove to work and when I got there I opened my hood again and I saw an oil leak, I followed the leak and it is comming from where my cold air intake is attached, I removed the CAI and saw oil leaking from my air intake. My car will not idle properly, if I dont give it gas it will idle for a couple seconds and just die. My supercharger belt turns when I hit the gas and my throttle body opens but according to my boost gauge I am not producing any boost. Please help, what is wrong with my car. I just had a new supercharger intstalled 5 days ago, it is the same type of eaton that the cobra came with, my original eaton supercharger had the impellers get damaged, thats why I had to get a new one. Could the install of the new supercharger have anything to do with what is causing the problem with my car now? I am hurting for money and hope it is not a big problem but I am sure it is. I have horrible luck. I am a firefighter so I am stuck at work all day today, when I get off tomarrow morning will I be ok to drive it approx 25 miles home then 10 miles to the repair shop on Monday. I understand you are just giving me your best guess so if you say yes and my car breaks, its ok, I understand, I would not be angry with you, I am just looking for your professional opinion. If you need any additional info I would be happy to give it to you. Thank you very much for your time sir.
