My car will not go into reverse. Does anyone know what the cause could be and how it can be repaired?

Physically does not go into gear or gors in but no reverse? is 5th gear good?

All other gears are working 1 - 5. Not able to shift into Reverse at all not matter how much you try and wiggle it in gear.

Seems like a problem with syncro assembly can you get into Rev engine off?
