2003 Ford Mustang V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi,

My car is making a rattlings nosie when my RPMs are going down, It does it in neutral and drive and is a really annoying noise. Do you guys think it could be a flexplate? or a loose bolt?

I've heard loose bolts only rattle in neutral.

HI there,

Flex plates are know to crack, so i would have this inspected as well as the exhaust system as this can often cause a similar rattle, start here.

Well I had the exhaust checked, and the noise was coming from around the bell housing

Check the flex plate then.
