i have a 2001 mustang. my car seems like its not getting enough gas... the other day i was driving to work and noticed that when i would try to give it gas it seems it didnt wanna go.. or accelerate. but it idels fine, so after work i thought maybe i had gotten some bad gas, with the recent flooding i was thinking oh man maybe i got gas that had water in it. so i got a fuel cleaner to eliminate water in gas tank. when you first take off its okay but then when u try to get car above 40 45 mph it acts as if its not getting gas and it doesnt wanna go sluggish, so on my way home from work i was having to go up a hill to get home and my check engine light came on for the 1st time. I just had the fuel filter replaced and oil change lube filter 2 weeks ago. and i have that done religiously...could there be something wrong with fuel pump or fuel injectors? the check engine light has remained on so i decided not to drive until i have it looked at.
