Hi ... my son has a 99 Mustang GT with straight pipe exhaust, independant rear suspension, and posi-traction. Recently, on acceleration from standing start, or even a slow rolling start, the rear end shimmies or shutters like the new tires are not grabbing, but no visible signs of slipping looking from the outside. Examining the shocks shows they are needing repair (oil leak staining). Was also going to replace the smaller shock stabilizing the forward-back motion of the rear end assembly.

Was wondering if there is something else that might be causing the vibration? Thanks ......
