Steering problem
1998 Ford Mustang Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I hit a curb yesterday at a fairly good speed, cracking the rim, sliding the driver front fender back, and the wheel now sits further back than before causing me to keep the steering wheel at an angle to keep the car straight. Any clue what I should be specifically checking when I bring it to my mechanic?[img:bb45278eb8]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/405964_cartire_1.jpg[/img:bb45278eb8]

Hi there,

You will have to get all the steering & suspension components checked on that side as you have hit it fairly hard ands with the steering and alignment now up set, there could be a number of items damaged, your mechanic will be well aware of what to be checking for.
