Its happened about 4 times so far. When shifting into reverse, it goes in fine, but when going to shift back into first, the stick is stuck in the reverse gear. No amount of pulling or pushing on the gear shift has been able to un-jam it from the reverse gear. the only effective way that we have to get it out of reverse when this happens is, to have one person inside the car with the clutch in and one or more people outside the car pushing it. The person inside the car is then able to pull it out of reverse and shift back into first. my question is, why is this happening. What could possibly be causing this. And how expensive of a fix is it?
