My '95 GT "Check Engine" light is staying on despite repairs and clearing the codes from the Computers Memory. I had some Idle problems and replaced the TPS and the IAC. This helped enormously, except...
I now have recurring Trouble Codes. On th KOEO test, I have code 998 "Hard Fault Present, FMEM Mode" And, 122 "Throttle Position Sensor Below Minimun Voltage".
Additionally, In the Memory Codes, I have Code 122 "Closed Throttle Voltage Higher or Lower Than Expected Or Not Consistent With MAF Sensor" And Code 122 "Throttle Position Sensor Below Minimum Voltage"
The Code Scanner says that the "Vehicle (is) Not Responding" when I attempt to do the KOER test. Also, the throttle response is different than before I affected repairs. When I shift gears the RPM's drop precipitously and make for a jerky ride between shifts - Not at all smoothly like before the Problems arose - and the "Check Engine" light remains on...Contiuously. No Amount of code clearing seems to have any effect. I am at my Wits end and Have Poured over my Manuals. I have the Ford Factory Repair Maual for '95 Mustangs as well as Haynes and Chilton Manuals. Additionally, I have the Ford Fuel Injection Books and, While Informative, do not shed any light upon my cars predicament. Please Help, Please???
