1990 Ford Mustang Possible cracked head

1990 Ford Mustang 2.3 Liter Engine.
Engine will crank but not stay running. You couldnt go 2 feet without it shutting off. Service facilty indicated compression problems and possible cracked head. Where do we go from here???

If its the cylinder head get it pressure and magnafluxed to confirm it
