my tranny grinds when going into 1st and 2nd gear. any ideas

Hi there,
if all other gears are ok, and t clutch is fully serviceable, i would be checking the transmission oil first, but i would suspect a problem with the 1-2 shift hub in the gear box,a mechanic will be able to help with this diagnosis with a road test.
