I need to wiring an electric cooling fan, I have the fan installed, Hayden thermostat control system, and I want to have the fan come on when the engine is turned off, and the fan to turn off when the engine is turned on.

I would like to have a wiring diagram to do this if I can. The diagram will need to be in detail with the relay instructions, I think I will need one, which wire to which number on the relay.

This is to solve a problem of the car will not start until it has cooled down after it has run and heated up. A vapor lock problem I do not seem to be able to solve.

I dont think the fan will help, check the lower radiator hose, the tend to collapse on the old mustangs, tried that yet? And is cranking speed normal or slow?
