I have a Mondeo MK3 2006, 2.0ltr Petrol and lately the car has been acting up lately.
While driving it hiccups as if its going to stall and all the lights come on in the dashboard, but if i push the gas pedal it kinda recovers and gets back to normal, and if i am driving slow, it does stall and when it does it takes some extra cranking to start. Before I wasnt experiencing any problems while driving, sometimes it would only take a a bit longer self to start.
The mechanic said that it might the fuel filter so got that changed but still having a problem, got new spark plugs a while ago and have them checked, they are fine as well i think. Then he suggested that it might be the fuel pump, but now he is saying that if it was the pump it would have failed by now so it might be something else.............any ideas?!
