Engine Mechanical problem
2001 Ford Mondeo Two Wheel Drive Manual 157000 miles
hi there ive just bought a 2001 Y reg mk3 ford mondeo 2.0 TDDI. I had to but a new battery on, put a gerry can of deisel in to get it started as it had been stood on the sellers drive for 3 weeks. when i started the car the little bit smoke cleared and i drove off up the road. with out warning there was a loud pop noise and then the sound of air or gas escaping for 2 or 3 seconds from the right hand side of the engine as i was driving. the car lost alot of power and the turbo wont kick in. when i lifted the bonnett there was a reddy brown powder residue at he bottom of the engine all over the radiator and surrounding area. Any ideas, please help???????????
