I tried changing the spark plugs, checking the carborator, the distributer cap, and the fuel pump/injector.
I also plugged in a spark plug to 4 out of 6 wires. Only one of the plugs had a spark, so at least 3 of 6 new plugs are not getting a spark. The wires are good too. It's like everything is fine, it just won't fire up. Any advice/ideas would be most appreciated.

im no expert but have you checked the ignition coil? you should also include a more in depth description of the problem you are having. like does the engine crank or does it just click when you turn the key. things like that

I drove to work and when I was ready to go home for the day, it wouldn't fire up. The engine turns over but it won't fire up. I had thought it wasn't getting fuel, but we tried several things and it's probably not that. Someone else also recommended checking the ignition coil. The trouble is, I have no idea what it looks like or how to test it. Thanks for your help. I greatly appreciate it.

if you know where your distributor cap is, the ignition coil [b:916d3d36f2]wire[/b:916d3d36f2] is usually the one coming from the middle of it if the coil itself isnt mounted in the middle. if you dont know where that is, follow a spark plug wire from the engine backwards and it will take you to the distributor cap. the ignition coil wire is again usually located in the middle and most of the time a different color than the plug wires. trace that wire back to the coil. i dont know how to test it, all i know is that it is around 20-60$ to replace. hope this helps

Well, so far here is what I've done:
I had the ignition coil and modulator checked, they are fine.
I replaced the spark plugs, wires, distibutor cap, and rotor. After all this I found out that there is no electrical current getting to the ignition coil. Any ideas?
