my 2003 ford focus wagon horn stopped working.

1. I checked the fuse, and the fuse is fine.

2. I removed the horn and tried the horn attached to a seperate battery, and the horn sounded fine.

3. I'm scared to look at the steering wheel because I don't want to set off or mess with the air bag.

What is the best next step for me?

Does the horn sound with the ignition off with the key out?
If so check that the steering column is earthed properly.
There should be a wire earthing it somewhere at the base or near the UJ.

Forget the wimpy factory toy

No need to mess with steering wheel!

Want to be in Command in a bad situation?

Install a real horn!
