When I start my car (2001 Ford Focus) it runs incredibly rough. The whole car shakes and chugs, as if it's about to break down. This shaking is coming from the engine area. It sounds horrible. It smells slightly of fuel. After driving it a few miles, it all completely disappears, and drives great.
This has been going on for a few days. Normally, I know I shouldn't be driving it, but it's my only car and I have to take my son to school. I don't have a ton of money to put into fixing it again (the engine and transmission have both been replaced already). But, not sure what else do to. Any suggestions?
