Will not start

Hello, last night I start backing up normal until suddenly stalls after only moving five feet. After that next start attempts will turn over but not start.
I am some what mechanically incline. I checked fuel line there is is fuel pushing pull a coil there is no spark at all coming out of it. Checked the relays for run start and fuel pump move around some and still no start. I have a code reader that also reads live data spark read will not change while attempting to start.

If you have fuel and no spark, chances are the crankshaft position sensor has failed. Take a look at this link.

If you have a live data scanner, check to see if there is a signal from the sensor. If there is no signal, suspect it is bad. On this vehicle, the sensor is located on the left hand side toward the rear of the engine. It is behind the heat shield and rubber grommet.

I attached the pictures of location, heat shield, grommet. If this vehicle is turbo charged, it will require the removal of the left turbo charger and possibly the catalytic converter.

If you replace the sensor, unbolt the sensor prior to disconnecting the wiring. This will prevent the sensor from accidentally falling into the bell housing.
