my fiesta occasionally displays a warning light indicating that there is an accelerator malfunction, and the engine slows to a slow speed. If I stop, turn off the ignition, then turn the ignition on again, the warning light has been turned off and the car engine runns as normal. This can be the case till the next time it happens, which could be months or days.
