1989 Ford Festiva
the belt running to my alternator keeps getting loose. after i tighten it the car runs fine. but once it gets loose it often makes a high pitch squeeking noise and eventually i lose power to my battery. ive had the belt actually fall off twice. what is making it loose? is there a way to fix it? i cant keep replacing it.
