Engine Cooling problem
2004 Ford Falcon 6 cyl Automatic

i have found brown oily stuff in my resevoir tank , my car doesnt over heat and runs smoothly. There isnt any water mixed with the oil, as i have check the dip stick and also drained and replaced engine oil.

Normal gunk that build up in tank. Remove tank clean and flush cooling system.

This model Ford tended to have a problem with the transmission cooler. The transmission oil leaks into the radiator water. Replace radiator, drain and flush cooling system, and also get the automatic drain, flushed, and adjusted and pray like hell that there is no damage to the auto. The Water damages the friction plates.
