1985 Ford Falcon Smokey exhaust, car has sat for 12 months

I have a 1985 ford falcon with a 4.1 cross-flow straight 6, that blows smoke from the exhaust, heavier when cold. But even with the engine warmed up a tiny bit of smoke is still noticeable. revving the engine will make it blow heavy smoke and then blow a little smoke after for a few seconds. I purchased the car after it had sat for 12 months. it has 200,000km/s (120,000 miles) and has been well maintained by its previous elderly owner. The car starts first go and runs smoothly. Also it is a carby motor.
