Electrical problem
2001 Ford Fairmont 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi.
After changing the front headlight bulbs, removing and replacing the battery the car started to do the following.
When driving approaching to stop idle will drop then stall, it also does this when turning corners. However when the car is idling in neutral the engine runs fine and idle does not go down.
My cousin who is a mechanic has tested the idle control motor. We have also sent the EC away to be tested, it came back with no defects found.
I am at a loss as to what it could be. I suspect that I may have knocked a cable or something when changing the bulb, or there is a fuse somewhere which is blown. I appreciate you taking the time to help me.

sorry would have donated but I do not have a credit card.

Thanks
Steve
