I would like to find the cause of brake pedal shudder/push back when appling the brake pedal.
the van is a 97 e-350 7.3 diesel with ABS.
I have replaced the brakes all around completely with new rear wheel cylinders, shoes and drums on the rear axle.
The front brakes are totaly redone with new pads, calipers and rotors and hoses.
The brake shudder is still slightly present when you apply the brake heavly.
The brakes have been bled and i feel the only other option is to rebuild or replace the master cylinder.
Does these vans have this problem in higher mileage vehicles. This van has 170k on it.The brakes also can feel good sometimes and other times not.
Does the abs block manifold contribuate to this problem also.please let me know your thoughts.
