I have a F350 super duty that I bought wrecked and it doesn't pull in any gear. I checked the fluid and it shows full, I pulled the lines off the transmission cooler and there was no fluid in the cooler. It doesn't seem to be pumping the fluid. Could there some malfunction other than the transmission being completely shot.Thank you for your time.

The trans will only pump fluid when hot and up to temp. The truck runs well and revs up but doesn't move forward or reverse. and it will pump fluid in neutral but not in park

I ran the truck between 10&15 minutes before checking the fluid. Ichecked it in neutral and park. Is there electric or computer controlled that could be bad and causing problems or do you I need a tranny?

If you put the truck in gear does it even try to move, what about reverse. If it moves forward a little bit but you have to rev it high than most likely the trans is shot, Is the fluid dark and smell burnt. If it doesn't do anything make sure it is not something disconnected like the linkage or t-case in neutral. It sounds like the line pressure control solenoid is out or not connected here is the location so you can check it out. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

The truck doesn't move at all, even if rev it up and the fluid is not dark it looks almost new. I dropped the pan to check for metal and didn't see any. So I removed line solenoid and it looked okay, so I got a new one and put it back together and it worked! thanks for the suggestion, can I give you some money somehow?
