My truck has the DTC # P0284 it runs very ruff at first startup of the day and is fine after it warms up. The code is cylinder contribution / balance, what needs to be repaired, should it be covered under the warranty, is it an easy fix for the shade tree mech?

I would first confirm if this is a warranty issue for your dealer to take care off, if so go that way, if not, this code is for what you reported but i get it as in No8 cyl. so i would be checking out, injector, vacuum leaks and ignition on that cylinder.
