My transmission gage shows that it is running very hot and the towing light blinks off and on. It will do this after only running the vehicle for a few minutes. I have checked the fluid level and it is fine. It does not feel hot even after the gage has shown hot nor does it smell burned. I suspect it is just a sensor but it will occasionally make the transmission shift hard mostly from 1st to 2nd. Where is the sensor/theromostat that i should check or is there something else.
Thank you,
Darwin

you must remove transmission oil pan and it id in the pass side front of the valve body, it is a little black sensor that twists and snaps into the oil passage
