2002 Ford F350 V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have 2002 ford f350 (7.3 lt v8) it starts out with good oil pressure but in about 8 min it all gone??

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the oil pressure switch abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearings

i have a 2002 f350 powerstroke im working on we had to replace the timing cover gasket on it got it back together primed the oil pump it starts holds oil pressure running down the road but at an idle it looses oil pressure and dies u have to re prime oil pump to get it to start again any imput would be apritiated thank you

The oil pump pressure relief valve could be sticking
