2002 Ford F350 oil leak

I have a 2002 f350 7.3 desiel and its sprong a leak. Oil is collecting on the top end of the engine on the intake. It is a bad enough leak that it spills over on inclines. Not knowing desiel much,I think it's 90% that it's the valve cover on one or both sides. It does have a turbo,I was told this is running a certain amount of oil too(16 quarts got to be somewhere)
The engineers at Ford didn't make it easy for us morons to stick our heads in there to find the leak with out tearing into it.
How many possibilities are there for this problem?

Hi there,

I feel that if you do the rocker cover gaskets first this may well solve the problem, i would start here as this is a fairly simple job compared to other places that it may be leaking, but i would start here first.

Thanks for the response. There can not be more than a couple places in this location for oil to be leaking from correct? What other source would there be?

That far up the motor you could have the oil coming from the valley cover(inlet manifold) gaskets, i am thinking that this is where the oil is pooling, in the wells in the inlet manifold?

Mark, I've looked into it harder and eliminated the rocker gaskets. It would have to travel up hill to pool on the intake manifold(wells). I got another opinion and he said,,,,,,"Start by checking your Turbo to turbo mount O-rings, Turbo mount to engine O-rings, and your HPOP Good Luck ". What do you think about this answer?

A turbo does have high pressure oil feed, oil pressure sender also high pressure oil, i do think that you will have to get the engine washed down and give it a good run, check for the fresh leaks, they should be easily seen on a clean engine,even one as cluttered as this, i am having trouble visualizing this leak, trouble is i cant get a decent pic on line of the engine to form a view, unfortunately this is not an engine i come across every day.

I think I got it. Changed the pedestall orings this weekend and it seems to be good. Thanks for the help.
