I replaced the clutch master cylinder in this 1999 Ford F350 SuperDuty and now the clutch pedal is very hard to push to the floor. Hard to push down far enough to get the engine to start. I bled out all air. The back ground of this is: The wife went to start the truck, she said that something popped and the clutch pedal went to the floor. I was going to change the slave cylinder but noticed the fluid level was low. i added fluid and it started running into the floorboard. I found that the clutch master cylinder had broken so i replaced. Could this be a defective master cylinder or could it bwe something locked up in the transmission?
