1996 Ford F350 engine cuts off

After driving a couple of hours the engine will cut off. You have to wait about fifteen minutes before it will crank. It only does this whever we have the A/C on. If the A/C is off there is no problem.....

Checked for codes yet? Sounds like the CHT sensor is picking up an overheat..check coolant level, radiator fan operation, and cooling fins in radiator for blocage, you need airflow thru the radiator and condeser, or fuel can boil in the fuel rail, clean both with compressed air and a wand...
