Transmission problem
1995 Ford F350 V8 Automatic 186000 miles
Speedometer stopped working and the truck is shifting back and forth from second to third until I get to about 50 miles per hour. Prevously the overdrive light has been flashing on and off once in a while but works fine once I shut the engine down and restart the truck. Also have a recall to replace speed control deactivation device.
I replaced rear speed sensor in rear and has not fixed speedometer problem. Whats next to check. Mechanic wanted to rip dash apart to see if there was a bad wire.
