Low brake pedal spongy I did not turn the rotors or drums

I've replaced the master,shoes, & pads.I did not turn the rotors or drums , but did deglaze them. I've bled (3 times ) and the rears are adjusted. I still have a soft and low pedal . I'm sure it's something I did because I have the same problem on a Chevy that I've replaced the same items on. Can you help so I don't repeat the same mistake ?

HI there,

often there is air trapped in the lines and you may have to use a pressure bleeder to clear this air out, also try bleeding the master first, then using brake hose clamps lock off all brake hoses and test the pedal, if hard and high, problem will be in the lines past the clamps, start here.

I had a similar issue. I got air in the abs system. sounds like you did too. there is a specific bleeding technique on vehicles with abs. The instructions should be in the manuals, i called the dealer and found the info in a chilton manual. broncoearl
