My transmission guy fixed a faulty transmission control switch and said that while running diagnostics he found a code 29-open vehicle speed sensor circuit. Also the rear drum brakes intermittantly will not fully release if brakes are applied hard.

He is not an engine guy and was not familiar with the speed sensor circuit.

Rear brakes, is it something as simple as replacing the hardware as the drum and pads are in very good condition?

Hello, if you have the rabs brake system, I check the sensor and wiring circuit.
