Hello mathiaso

Yes that's the one. It lost all power while pulling the RV and used even more gas than ever. We took it and had the Cat replaced and they said we also need a new EGR valve. It pulled a better after, but we want to see if we can't replace that valve ourselves, if we know for sure where exactly it is.

Yes you can. It is located under hood, center, upper engine area, passenger side of intake manifold with the egr sensor on the top of it. REMOVAL : Disconnect the EVP sensor wiring.

Make sure the passage (hole where the marker is )leading to the intake is not plug if it is unplug it .I believe that where the problem is.spray carburetor cleaner and unplug it it with a small screwdriver until it free of hard carbon deposit

To install: # Attach the EVP sensor to the EGR valve. # Install the EGR valve to the engine with a new gasket and tighten. # Attach the vacuum line to the valve. # Connect the EVP sensor wiring. # Disconnect the exhaust gas inlet tube. # Connect the negative battery cable. If you have questions or difficulties, feel free to contact.
