abs light illuminated and brake lights are on

check the brake fluid level
you may need a brake job
and if all ok you have to scan for code s

Thank you for the quick response. The two problems are completely unrelated. The brake light switch went bad, I should have checked that prior to posting, as far as the ABS light, it went out so I still don't have a clue as to what caused it to go on.

every time you turn key on the system go throw a check list and if the switch was bad . this is why
