Hi My name is Rob. I have a Ford F250 2008 Diesel truck.
The problem I am having is that everyday when I start my truck and the enigne starts to warm up - even sometimes after 15-20 min of driving - a large heavy plume of white/gray smoke pops out of the muffler and lasts about 10 seconds. After this emission, it does not happen again for the rest of the day. Could this be a tapped muffler drain? I am worried it might be the injectors not working properly. But if this latter reason was the case, would it happen all the time? What do you suggest I do to reslove this issue? Thanks for your time.

hello, i also have a 2008 f 250 diesel, and I just started to have the same smoke. Its in almost the same spot everyday one the way to work, just like you said almost 15 - 20 min of driving then it happens for 10 seconds then blows out. It never happened , and it just hit only 33,000 miles. Also since this has started my gas millage is going down real bad.

If someone knows something, let us in on it

Thanks Eric
